Every exhibitor needs to have a visa before entering Japan. For details on the visa application please see following recommendation or ask your travel agency.

Please make sure, that at least 2 month before the show starts, all necessary documents are submitted.

To accelerate your visa procedure, it is recommended to apply for a tourist visa in your own country.

Consulate expenses incurred for visa application will be fully borne by the applicant.

For visitors

As of April 2010, Japan had taken measures concerning the waiver of visa requirements with 61 countries and regions, as shown in the accompanying table.

If your country or region is not listed in the visa exemption arrangement list please make sure that at least 2 months before BioFach Japan all necessary documents are submitted to NürnbergMesse.

You should apply for “Short Term Stays (excluding Work) Temporary Visa” at a Japanese consulate or embassy with the support of the document issued by the organiser based on your submitted documents.
